Susan Poirier

An artist at heart since childhood I did not indulge my creative side until I retired from a satisfying career as a critical care nurse and educator. My art education comes through community college courses and an abundance of workshops in a wide variety of mediums. Over the past ten years my work has transitioned from traditional representational painting to contemporary abstract in cold wax and oil, encaustic and more recently acrylic. I live and work in Northern California.
